Welcome to LeadHer: Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders
The Junior League of Las Vegas is excited to introduce LeadHer, a dynamic program designed to empower high school young women in grades 9–12. Our goal is to equip the next generation of female leaders with the skills, experience, and mentorship needed to create positive change in their communities.
Through hands-on volunteer opportunities, leadership development, and personal growth, JLLV is committed to building a supportive community of young women prepared to make an impact and lead with confidence.

Program Highlights
- Fun & Interactive Hangouts: Monthly meetups filled with exciting activities, hands-on workshops, and team challenges that will help you learn, connect, and grow.
- Hands-On Learning Experience: Gain practical experience by actively participating in volunteer projects and planning your own Community Impact Project.

Curriculum Overview
LeadHer’s year-long curriculum is designed to balance leadership development with hands-on experience. Here’s what you can expect:
First Half of the Year: August – December.
- Meeting once a month: Get introduced to the Junior League, discover volunteer opportunities and learn new skills.
- Mentorship: Connect with a mentor who will guide you through your leadership journey.
- Shadow League Projects: Participate in 2–3 volunteer opportunities to gain real-world experience.
- Project Planning: Start brainstorming and planning your Community Impact Project.
Second Half of the Year: January – May
- Meeting once a month: Focus on executing your project and developing leadership skills.
- Mentorship: Continue monthly one-on-one sessions with your mentor.
- End of Year Banquet: Celebrate your growth and accomplishments at a fun social gathering.
